Katja Dinges

Katja Dinges is an Associate Director and an expert in energy and environmental issues with 20 years of professional experiences. She is responsible for designing and evaluating policies and measures to promote renewable energies and energy efficiency, particularly in buildings and industry. Katja carried out barrier and cost-benefit analysis and developed MRV systems. In addition, she conducted several projects on the implementation of the European Energy Efficiency Directive, the 2030 targets and the decarbonisation of industry. Another focus of her work is sustainable finance, energy services markets and conducting stakeholder dialogues. Before joining Navigant (former Ecofys), she worked for B.&S.U. mbH, a consulting company in the field of environmental protection, rational use of energy and Structural Funds. For this company she developed a certification system for local energy policy and prepared climate action plans. Furthermore, she conducted several EU energy projects like climate financing, energy management for SME, benchmark projects.
