Loredana Torsello is one of the Chairs of the SET PLAN Temporary Working Group on Deep Geothermal. She holds a PHD in Agricultural Environmental, a Master of Science in Environmental and Resources Economics, and a degree in Economics. She started her career in geothermal energy in 2001 and, in that same year, she also became the CEO of Green Time-Srl (a spin-off company of the Siena University), where she provides consultancy services in environmental management and energy. In 2012, she was the Executive Manager of COSVIG, a company created by local administrations in Tuscany to facilitate and promote the development and deployment of geothermal energy in the Region. In 2013, she was entrusted with additional duties, she was appointed as General Director of Energy, a subsidiary of COSVIG involving the Pisa University that is engaged in technology transfer activities in the field of renewable energy, especially in geothermal.
