Get your best energy technology ideas funded - EUROGIA2020

EUROGIA2020, the EUREKA Cluster for low carbon energy technologies, is a bottom-up, industry driven, market oriented programme which addresses all areas of the energy mix, from renewable energy to efficiency, and reduction of carbon footprint of fossil fuels.

EUROGIA2020 is the only programme in ERA covering the entire energy value chain except nuclear.

It has been created to promote transnational energy related projects and enabling technologies with the aim of mitigating climate change. This initiative started in 2008 has successfully promoted 250 million euro worth energy technology projects in EUREKA Countries.

It adresses all innovative energy technologies that will:

  • reduce the carbon footprint of energy production and use
  • develop new technologies with the aim of mitigating climate change
