Damien Dallemagne holds an Engineering degree from the University of Liège, an MSc in Environmental Technology from the Imperial College in London and an MBA from the University of California in Berkeley.
Damien has had a dual career in industry (for 8 years) and in management consulting for more than 16 years (first with Arthur D. Little, then as a freelance consultant).
Over the last 10 years, Damien has been mostly active in the fields of innovation management and sustainable development. Over recent years, Damien has been particularly involved in accompanying the development of multi-stakeholder innovation networks associating large industrial companies, SMES, research organizations, universities, and public institutions. For example, he played a key role in coaching the creation of the European Knowledge & Innovation Community (KIC) on Raw Materials.
Damien coordinated the efforts that lead to the creation of CO2 Value Europe, the European Association dedicated to CO2 Utilization in November 2017, and has been Secretary General of the Association since then.
CO2 Value Europe is the industry-driven European Association which is committed to coordinate and represent the CO2 Capture and Utilisation community in Europe and to build up an integrated vision and action plan to develop CO2 Utilisation into a new industrial sector making a significant contribution to Europe’s low carbon economy. It is the only association in Europe entirely dedicated to the subject, gathering stakeholders from all the relevant sectors of the CO2 value chain: CO2 emitters from all significant process and energy intensive industries, providers of decarbonated energy, industrial gas experts, CO2 capture and conversion technology providers, and users of CO2-based products.
