Bridging the way for the future energy systems

There are many aspects to the transition of the energy systems in Europe.

During this session the knowledge from four distinct European projects representing the Horizon 2020 BRIDGE initiative with a specific focus in different areas of the energy transistion are presenting their key findings and observations.

The areas are storage, community building and customer engagement, local smart grids and the market for flexibility.

All areas are important measures for the energy transition  to become a reality in the near future.

The findings will be followed up by representatives from the EC and the session concludes with a discussion about the  current status of the different aspects of the energy transition and what is needed both from a political and a technical perspective to secure the vision to happen.
