SUSTAINABLE ENERGY EUROPE Awards Ceremony (Strictly Upon Invitation)

The annual Awards Competition is an integral part of the Sustainable Energy Europe Campaign and it provides an invaluable opportunity to highlight the successes of the most outstanding, ambitious and innovative projects in the field of energy efficiency, renewable energy sources, clean transport and alternative fuels.

272 projects are taking part in the Sustainable Energy Europe Awards Competition 2010. These represent all the initiatives recognised as Official Partner of the Sustainable Energy Europe Campaign by the European Commission during 2009. The 272 candidates are distributed in 5 categories: Sustainable Energy Communities, Market Transformation including voluntary commitments, Promotional, communication and educational actions, Demonstration and dissemination projects and Cooperation programmes.

The winning projects are showcased as examples of excellence and promoted to the press, inspiring other energy actors and providing models to guide and stimulate the further development of sustainable energy initiatives in Europe.

26 Nominees were pre-selected following the evaluation of a Technical Advisory Committee. The list of the 2010 Nominees is available here.

The Winners will be announced during this prestigious ceremony at the Théâtre du Vaudeville with the confirmed presence of the EU Commissioner for Energy Günther H. Oettinger.

The Ceremony will be followed by a cocktail with live music.

The Awards Ceremony is strictly upon invitation. All Invitees will receive a printed invitation by post.
